After admitting that she may have stunted her own weight loss for years, Lisa Riley has now opened up about how bowel movements are her REAL dieting secret

After shedding 12 stone in just a year and a half, ex-Strictly Come Dancing star Lisa Riley confessed yesterday that she was faced with sagging skin and a body that she didn't recognise.

But now she's opened up about one of the better sides of weight loss journey - the change in her bowel movements and how it has helped her.

In Lisa's book, Honesty Diet, she wrote; "One thing I should mention is that you usually go to the toilet more when your body begins working as it should".

She added; "Don't be too posh to talk about poo. Ideally, you want to poo at least an hour or two after every meal, and at least once a day.

If you think you're not pooing enough, have an apple or a handful of berries to help move things along".

Lisa proudly posted a snap of her new book to her Instagram feed yesterday, captioning it "Night Night new book....see you in the morning when you are available to buy EVERYWHERE!Thank you so so so much for your never ending supply of beautiful, loyal, friendly support today!! Good things happen to good people!!! FACT!!!".
