According to Mail Online, former One Direction star Zayn is keen on starting a romance with stunning Burberry model Neelam Gill.
The site reports that the pair first met in March in a London recording studio but Zayn was was still engaged to Little Mix star Perrie so nothing happened.
They then reunited a month later at the Asian Awards, with Neelam writing on Twitter: "Congratulations on your award tonight @zaynmalik, catch up again soon!"
The two apparently stayed in touch as friends until Zayn called off his engagement Perrie at the end of last month. Now Neelam, 20, is reportedly planning on flying to LA to spend time with Zayn as he is currently over there working on his debut solo album.
However, don't be expecting the pair to go public with their new romance any time soon. A source told the Mail Online: "Neelam doesn't know if she wants all of the drama that comes with dating someone in the public eye. She is going to LA to spend some time with Zayn and see how things go from there.
"She is serious about her career and doesn't want anything to get in the way of that but she has hit it off with Zayn…Both are eager to keep their connection a secret for now."
Zayn is said to be renting a house in Beverley Hills as he works on his solo music. The 22-year-old has been recording his own tracks since he quit One Direction earlier this year and seems to making the most of the single life out in LA.
