When Zayn Malik left One Direction earlier this year, he appeared to quickly embark on an intense ‘bromance’ with producer Naughty Boy.
Now, the 22-year-old has locked horns with the successful musician in a series of brutal tweets.
The former boy band star branded Naughty Boy a ‘fat joke’ in response to a YouTube video allegedly uploading by the star.
He wrote: “@NaughtyBoyMusic you fat joke stop pretending we're friends no one knows you .”
After blasting him for his ‘pretend’ friendship, he then wrote: “Someone learned how to upload a video... maybe now he should learn how to use logic ha you ain't shit but a faker.”
Ouch!
Naughty Boy quickly responded with a not-so-witty retort.
He wrote: “Don't feed the hand that bites you.”
(Did he mean ‘Don’t bite the hand that feeds you’?)
The pair were previously insuperable, sharing snaps of themselves together in the studio as well as being pictured on nights out together.
Naughty Boy famously became involved in a bitter Twitter feud with Zayn’s former bandmate Louis Tomlinson earlier this year.
During the war of words, Zayn defended Naughty Boy after the producer claimed that Louis couldn’t sing.
