The former One Direction star, who left the super band earlier this year to pursue other projects, has apparently left Little Mix’s Perrie ‘devastated’ by the move.
And according to a source, the break came two weeks ago, with Edwards attempting to put a brave face on things while she does promo for her band.
‘Perrie’s being supported by her bandmates, but she’s really in pieces about this’ said the source.
Zayn and Perrie got engaged in August 2013 after meeting on the celebrity circuit. Despite being just 20-years-old, the couple endured several cheating scandals, mental One Direction fans and conflicting schedules over their four year relationship.
But despite the difficulties, the 22-year-old pair seemed absolutely devoted to one another, buying a mansion together in London just last month.
Yesterday, Little Mix Bandmate Jesy Nelson seemed to fuel rumours of an impending split after she posted a photo of Perrie with a bare ring finger - naming her her ‘woman crush.’
