He called off their three-year engagement earlier this month, and now Zayn Malik has been slammed for throwing major shade at Perrie Edwards.

Perrie, 22, is currently in America promoting Little Mix’s current single Black Magic – which recently spent three weeks at number one in the UK.

But former One Direction singer Zayn, also 22, has angered the Mixers and even some of his own fans with his latest dig at heartbroken Perrie, and it seems he’s not a fan of the song.

A music account on Twitter posted: “Which is the bestir single? Retweet – ‘Worth It’ by Fifth Harmony. Favourite – ‘Black Magic’ by Little Mix.”

Can you guess what Zayn did? Yup, he retweeted the post – suggesting he prefers rival girl band Fifth Harmony’s current single.

But Zayn’s casual hate on his ex and her band mates did not go down well with their army of Mixers.

One wrote: “It’s really embarrassing when GIRLS are applauding Zayn for shading Little Mix. YA KNOW, WHO ARE GIRLS [sic].”

Another added: “Lol Zayn is burning so many bridges on his road to solo fame. I hope his songs are fire or else this could get embarrassing… [sic].”

“Wow how freaking embarrassing is zayn acting god this is so childish [sic],” fumed one fan.

And even Zayn’s own fans began to turn on him, with one angrily typing: “I LOVE ZAYN BUT THAT IS THE PETTIEST THING HES EVER DONE ITS EMBARRASSING [SIC].”

But it appears Zayn has no regrets about the dig at Perrie: the retweet is still on his timeline and went straight back to partying in LA.
