Zac Efron has broken his jaw, his rep has confirmed, and has had his mouth wired shut by surgeons as part of the healing process.
The actor, who is set to star in Parkland, a film all about JFK's assassination, suffered the serious injury after (wait for it) slipping in a puddle of water outside his Los Angeles home on Sunday.
A puddle, yes. As in, the sort of thing us Brits are forced to splash through almost every single day of the winter months. And the summer months, to be honest. So that's definitely given us something else to be afraid of.
With cracked bones and a serious cut, Zac now has had his jaw wired shut as part of the recovery process - not to mention had a few stitches.
But fear not, Zefron fans; the Hollywood hunk is "expected to make a full recovery", according to folks at E! News.
We hope he gets better soon - this all sounds really miserable.
