The 21-year-old narrowly missed out on joining Rita Ora and the girls category in the Judges’ Houses round – and it’s been alleged that a former friend viciously assaulter her through jealousy.
After a night out with friends, Chloe was allegedly dragged into a car and beaten up by the unnamed man.
According to the Sunday People, the attacker was a man Chloe had ‘known for years’, and she later shared a snap of her injuries on Twitter.
Chloe wrote: “Wasn’t going to do this but I am because I’m truly sickened to my stomach and believe people need to know that this boy is a monster.
“This boy will not get away with what he’s done to me and my life.”
Merseyside Police said: “At around 4am the victim was waiting for a taxi in Stanley Street with two friends when she became involved in a verbal altercation with a man she knew.
“Following this altercation the man is alleged to have assaulted her, resulting in her needing hospital treatment for swelling to her face and scratches to her face and arms.
“The victim made a formal allegation to Merseyside Police on Thursday 8th October and a full investigation is under way.”
During the first round of X Factor’s tough six chair challenge, Chloe lost out on a place in Rita’s top six to Louisa Johnson.
