Every single X Factor fan will remember Rhydian Roberts, the Welsh beefcake with the voice of an angel.

Well, a very deep voiced angel.

The classically trained baritone appeared on the reality show back in 2007, where he left fans divided with his eccentric performances - and INCREDIBLE rendition of the Phantom of the Opera.

Need a reminder?

His voice certainly wowed Louis Walsh, who commented: "You've got star quality, you've got presence, and this show's going to change your life.”

While Rhydian didn’t win the show (boo!), he did find his confidence and his niche during his performances.

He said afterwards: "I’m very proud of what I achieved on X Factor. I’m a showman and it gave me the chance to put on a show.”

Rhydian found some loyal fans in the show - and went on to treat them to his own tour in 2015.

And, unlike some X Factor stars, he’s still making music now - he’s currently set to support Jason Donovan at the Coast2Coast Festival this July.

But, despite all that, Rhydian still makes time for his family.

So, when he found out that his brother was expecting a baby girl, he couldn’t help sharing his excitement with fans.

Taking to Twitter, he wrote happily: “Looks like I'm going to be 'Uncle Rhydian’!

“Congrats to my bro Gareth.”

He added: “It's a girl (apparently!)”

Bless him - it IS hard to tell with those grainy ultrasound pictures, isn’t it?

We bet his little niece is going to absolutely LOVE her flamboyant uncle!
