The X Factor has brought us a LOT of eye candy over the years, hasn’t it?
From Olly Murs to each and every single one of the One Direction boys, Simon Cowell’s show has plucked talented singers out of obscurity and dropped them into our laps.
But some of our beloved contestants have since gone under the radar.
Like Leon Jackson, for example.
The spiky-haired teen won X Factor waaaaay back in 2007, scoring a Christmas number one with a cover of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey's When You Believe.
And, while there’s no denying that he was cute, the X Factor champion was definitely a bit too baby-faced for us to lust over properly.
Scotsman Leon was dropped by his record label back in 2009 and, in May 2010, was announced as the 2nd biggest reality TV flop (just behind Steve Brookstein).
But it seems as if a comeback could be in order.
Because, despite admitting he feels “crushed" by Simon Cowell, and that he sees his X Factor success as a curse, Leon has been busy making a name for himself as a successful singer overseas.
And he’s got a brand-new look to go with his brand-new sound.
Check it out:
Yup, we told you so.
The 26-year-old has switched up everything, from his hairstyle to his workout regime at the gym, and he definitely looks good on it.
Just in case you were wondering, Leon is now living in Los Angeles, which is a bit of a trek.
Although (from what we can gather) IS single - so, you never know, it might be worth booking those flights after all.
According to his bio, his new music is "original, acoustic and full of honest soul".
We hope he plans a comeback tour here in the UK soon!
