It seems as if the boys of X Factor past are having a moment.

We recently reported that Leon Jackson had transformed from baby-faced hopeful to Hollywood hunk https://closeronline.co.uk/celebrity/news/x-factor-leon-jackson-shows-sexy-transformation-click-see/, and now it seems as if Jahméne Douglas has undergone a pretty massive makeover as well.

The shy and retiring singer shot to fame, thanks to his modest nature and sweet-as-an-angel voice, back on The X Factor in 2012.

He finished in second place, and has since gone on to find success as a singer; in fact, his second album (which features collaborations with the likes of Diane Warren) is currently in the works.

But Nicole Scherzinger’s protégé hasn’t just been working on his music; he’s also been working on his look, too.

The 24-year-old took to Instagram this week to share a photo of his ever-changing appearance - and it’s definitely left fans in shock.

Jahméne donned a pair of coloured contact lenses for the selfie, but it was his meticulously manicured eyebrows and contoured face that really grabbed our attention.

Check it out:

We barely recognised him - how about you?

It’s apparent that the singer has lost a little weight since his time on The X Factor, and that he’s been spending a lot more time on his appearance.

From his perfectly preened hair, to the lashings of nude lipstick and bronzer, he definitely looks like model material.

Maybe Jahméne could find success on the catwalk as well as the charts, eh?

Either way, his look has gone down a storm with his fans, with many praising his “beautiful” new look.

And, to those who slammed him for his transformation, he had just this to say:

“Any judgement of beauty will always be an opinion.”

What do you think of Jahméne’s new look?
