The Worst Witch was, without a doubt, one of the BEST things about being a kid in the 90s and 00s - mainly because we all wanted to head off to Cackle's Academy with Mildred Hubble, Maud Moonshine, and the rest of the gang.
But, just like us, the young witches have all grown up - and they're living VERY different lives to that of their alter-egos.
Check out their magical transformations below:
The Worst Witch child stars, then and now!
worst witch before after mildred hubble
Georgina Sherrington won awards for her portrayal as Mildred Hubble, but took a break from acting when she moved to Los Angeles. Nowadays, she's back in London, and working hard as a writer, producer AND actress on several projects - yay!
worst witch before after miss cackle
Miss Cackle was the cuddly, yet formidable, headmistress of Mildred's school - and we all had a soft spot for her. Since then, Clare Coulter has done a LOT of work, but she's probably most famous for her role as Sister Agnes in Helix.
worst witch before after enid nightshade
We were big fans of practical joker Enid Nightshade - and we're even bigger fans of her nowadays. Yup, Jessica Fox went on to play THE Nancy Osborne in Hollyoaks in 2005, and she's become one of the soap's most popular characters to date. Good move, Enid!
worst witch before after maud moonshine
Maud Moonshine was smart, warm, lovely, and the sort of witch we'd definitely want to be pals with. Nowadays Emma has quit the acting biz and is now a married mum-of-two who goes under the surname Ronicle - but she's still VERY good friends with the rest of the cast!
worst witch before after ethel hallow
Quite possibly the biggest success story of The Worst Witch, Felicity swapped her life as Ethel Hallow for one of an Oscar nominated actress. Even more exciting is the fact that she appeared in Star Wars: Rogue One! Who needs magic when you have The Force, eh?
worst witch before after drusilla
Drusilla was Ethel Hallow's only friend at Cackle's Academy - and for good reason, too! But, unlike her snobbish alter ego, actress Holly has swapped her life of witchcraft for a career as a fashion blogger, rocking piercings, bright and bold makeup, and outrageously cool clothes. We love her!
worst witch before after miss bat
Miss Bat was the loopy and eccentric chanting teacher at Cackle's Academy, with a fondness for hedgehogs and of locking herself in cupboards. Una Stubbs later went on to star in EastEnders, Angel, Benidorm, Call The Midwife, Midsomer Murders AND more - talk about a success story!
worst witch before after griselda
Griselda Blackwood was the year above Mildred Hubble at Cackle's Academy (she was the one who sang the Walker's Gate chant at the first years in that very first episode), but they still had plenty of hijinks together. Poppy Gaye went on to stop acting, becoming the first full-time employee at Founders Forum. Yup, she's not so much a witch as she is a wizard at business!
worst witch before after miss hardbroom
Miss Hardbroom was the extremely strict form-mistress of Mildred Hubble, famed for her cutting tongue and VRY neat hair bun. Kate Duchêne went on to star in Casualty, Afterlife, An Education, Foyle's War AND Doctors - talk about being multi-talented!
worst witch before after ruby cherrytree
Ruby Cherrytree was inventive, loyal, and very, very bright, which earned her a place in Mildred's squad. Joanna Pryce went on to score a role in Doctors, before setting up an AMAZING career as a talented dancer and choreographer. What a transformation!
worst witch before after mrs tapioca
Mrs Tapioca was the pizza-loving Italian cook at Mrs Cackle's Academy - and very lovable, at that. But Annette Badland has since moved on from her comedy role to star as twisted and evil Aunt Babe in BBC One's EastEnders... and, quite honestly, we'd never trust a meal cooked up by that wicked witch!

Celebrity red carpet transformations
Amy Childs
In the early TOWIE days, the red head's uniform of choice was a diamante-encrusted babydoll dress and lashings of fake tan.
Binky Felstead
Bink's red carpet debut is miles away from her current aesthetic - which is very 'glowy, yummy mummy who is perennially sipping kale juice'.
Cheryl
Yeah sure, 'Cheryl full stop' is happy and living 'in a bubble of love', but Cheryl Tweedy had STYLE. Those hoop earrings and flesh-baring mini dress? We are so into it.
Kardashian family
Hold on, one minute! Before 'miracle' creams and contour palettes, the Kardashian family look normal? There is hope for us all!
Katy Perry
You know that annoying moment when you have overslept and have a glitzy award ceremony to attend? And getting changed out of your pjs is too much effort? Yeah that.
Jennifer Lawrence
A young J-Law used to have a penchant for waist-clinching belts and shirt dresses. Very Gok Wan, if we say so ourselves.
Kendall and Kylie Jenner
Kendall and Kylie have always been a fan of matching their red carpet assembles -* even* if it is cropped waistcoats and neon pink tights. Kudos to the bravery, girls.
Rihanna
Oooh the wrath of teenage rebellion! Bad Gal Ri Ri has always been one to showcase her edgy side.
Holly Hagan
ERRR... HOLLY IS THAT YOU?! We haven't seen a transformation this drastic since the Peter Beale days.
Charlotte Crosby
Charlotte Crosby didn't always look so perfectly preened, but that's why we love her, right?
Gemma Collins
Remember when Miss Collins used to be a brilliant brunette? US NEITHER. Thank you internet.
Gigi Hadid
Of course there isn't a bad picture of Gigi anywhere on the internet. She looks BABEIN'.
Rita Ora
Rita's look has gone in full circle and has now opted for her natural curls and caramel hue. We are uh-bsessed.
Selena Gomez
Selena has come A LONG WAY from her polka-dotted sartorial horror. Now she's one of the best dressed gals in pop.
Victoria Beckham
We don't know about you, but we are LOVIN' young VB's look. The cut out white kick-flares, the halter neck... THE SMILE.
