The former Spice girl, now fashion designer, was given the title at Glamour’s annual event to celebrate women.
In a rare interview at the awards, the usually tight-lipped 39 year-old, said: ‘I really love women.’
‘There aren’t enough women out there that support other women’
‘There aren’t enough women out there that support other women,’ she continued, ‘we need to support each other.’
‘Women to support each other.’
When asked about husband David, who has recently retired from football, she said: ‘I’m so proud of David and everything that he’s achieved. It’ll be great for him to be home with us.’
‘His future is so bright, he’s so smart, he’s got lots of very clever ideas up his sleeve and we’re looking forward to our future together.’
She joked that newly retired David might even become ‘the next Spice girl.’
Victoria thanked David again when accepting her award from Christopher Bailey.
‘Thank you to my husband, who does everything for me, he supports me, he encourages me to follow my dreams and fulfil my passions,’ she said.
‘Thank you Brooklyn, my date tonight, who's the most handsome man in the room tonight. That's really pissed off (model) David Gandy,’ she said.
Posh Spice also apologised to her teenage son after she accidentally made a racy joke by pulling up the microphone which was facing downwards saying: ‘Oh I have to raise it. That doesn't happen very often.’
