Lauren Scruggs made headlines in 2011, when a plane propeller sliced through one side of her body, leaving her with one arm and one eye.
The star then confessed that she wondered if anyone would ever love her following her accident, which stopped her career in its tracks.
‘It was just such an incredible time in life. I felt like my career was starting. Everything was rolling really fast and then everything came to halt’ said the model and blogger.
But following the horrific accident that took months of rehabilitation to come back from, something wonderful happened.
Lauren was introduced to Jason by his friend and fellow E! Presenter Giuliana Rancic, and the couple began dating shortly after.
Then, earlier in 2014, Jason proposed to Lauren using hundreds of candles spelling out will you marry me.
