The clip shows the 36 year-old rapper getting down on one knee and proposing to his baby mama in the middle of the AT&T Stadium in San Francisco while an orchestra plays Lana Del Rey’s ‘Young and Beautiful’ in the background.

After Kim says yes, she embraces her new fiancé before her family and friends – all dressed to the nines in gowns - run on to the pitch to celebrate the couple’s engagement.

The footage is said to have been captured by the co-founder of YouTube, Chad Hurley, with his new collaborative video app, MixBit, on Monday night.

In a speech to her daughter at the end of the clip, Kris Jenner says to her daughter – who turned 33 on Monday – ‘So congratulations. Happy birthday. What an incredible present. And I'm thrilled Kanye's in your life. And vice versa.’

Kim told E! News the following day: ‘Last night was truly magical!!! I am the luckiest girl in the world!" she told E! News on Tuesday. "I get to marry my best friend!’

According to reports, the reality star is planning to ditch her famous surname to become ‘Mrs West’ when the couple get married.

A source has told a UK newspaper: ‘Kim loves the idea of taking Kanye’s surname. This is real thing for Kim and she wants to do it properly. She’ll be Kimberly West on her official documents,’

Kim kept her last name when she tied the knot with ex-husband Kris Humphries.
