The internet exploded this weekend with the tease of Beyonce’s Lemonade, a new visual album that is set to tell the story of turning lemons into lemonade.
Naturally, the world immediately speculated that the truth on the Bey-Jay Z divorce rumours were about to rear their ugly head. Who is Becky with the good hair?
Meanwhile, while the world flew into a frenzy, James Corden cashed in on the buzz, creating an equally hilarious and disturbing parody video of Queen Bee’s new project.
That’s right, the Gavin and Stacey star and creator - who’s been splitting sides in the states presenting The Late Late Show since March 2015 – mchannelled Beyonce perfectly, from the bathtub to matching undies.
James performed a raw, ‘visual monologue’, explaining: “Night after night, even when we don’t have a show, I write a monologue, but you don’t see that.
“I don’t want to do another Trump joke. I’ve exhausted that topic. I’ve talked about his head, his tiny baby hands. Doing Trump jokes makes me feel dirty.”
And to stir up some of his own trouble, James asks: “Did that make you laugh, baby? Did that make you laugh like Jimmy with the good hair?”
