The TV bosses won’t be taking any chances during the live shows over the next few weeks, as Emma Willis is nearing the end of her pregnancy and almost ready to give birth to baby number three!
An insider has said that they are worried the stress of hosting The Voice live shows could bring on an early labour.
“Anything could happen at any time. It will be live on BBC One. It will be like Call The Midwife meeting The Voice,” Emma told the Daily Star.
During the early stages of auditions, Emma suffered from pregnancy illness and admitted it was ‘quite tricky’ during filming.
“I was uncontrollably sick. It was a constant feeling, constant nausea. So the blind auditions were quite tricky,” she explained.
The mum-of-two, who is married to Busted star Matt Willis, is thought to be due in early May, just weeks after the live final of The Voice on April 9th.
However, Emma believes she has it under control as she said: “I’ve done Big Brother’s Bit On The Side up until two weeks before giving birth, and that was on five nights a week. So I’ve managed to do live telly before.”
Emma is also helping her co-host Marvin Humes will help out if she was to go into labour during the live shows saying: “I am grateful that Marvin has a child. He’ll have the hot towels. I’ve always wanted to deliver a baby myself so maybe him and I can just do it between us.”
The 40 year old already has daughter Isabelle and son Ace with husband Matt, and is clearly looking forward to meeting the newest addition to their family!
We can’t wait to see the little one!
