Good Morning Britain’s Ben Shepherd was left red-faced after he accidentally made TV gold during an interview with Hollywood actor Pa

The TV presenter was interviewing the Clueless star about his latest role in Marvel movie Ant Man.

When the pair started discussing the LEGO figure based on Rudd, without thinking Ben asked him if he ‘played with himself’.

Quick to pick up on the obvious innuendo, the cheeky actor said: “I beg your pardon? This is morning television.”

Ben held his head in his hands as he realised his mistake.

Ben was referring to Paul's LEGO figure

Dad-of-two Paul saw an opportunity to make a joke out of the situation, replying: "No it's fine. I'll just sit here in the corner playing with myself."

The actor- who also starred in Friends- is in the UK to promote the action flick.

Paul was promoting his new movie

After glossing over Ben’s previous slip up, he explained that he was happy to enjoy the movie with his 9-year-old son, Jack.

"It was exciting when we saw Ant Man for the first time together last week. It was the first time he's seen me in anything. It was a great experience.”

Paul then added: “He's always been more into sports than superheroes but over the past year or so, he's definitely gotten into superheroes."
