Tom Hanks is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of our absolute favourite celebrities. Not only has he made countless movies, helped a desperate bride get to her wedding, is the real-life version of Toy Story's Woody the Cowboy and is, generally, just a really nice guy.

Over the years, Hanks has also supported a variety of charities and causes, including UNICEF, Sting's Rainforest Fund, Welcome Back Veterans, the Elevate Hope Foundation, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation, the Pearl Harbor Memorial Fund and many more. Phew!

However, if you need further proof of his "nice guy" status, we've got an amazing video (or two) to prove it.

It shows the actor meeting with autistic superfan, Sarah Moretti, backstage after one of his Lucky Guy performances in New York in March.

In a video of their hangout session, it shows Tom calling the girl "sweetie" and thanking her for making a scrapbook dedicated to his career. He even goes through every page, telling her, “Sarah, this is so great! You know, my mom doesn’t even have something like this!”

Are you ready for some serious sweetness? Check out the videos below:

We love the adorable hug at the end!
