It was revealed earlier this week that Lil Chris had passed away on Monday, at the age of 24.

Shortly before his passing, the talented and soulful singer made one last recording public.

Announcing his new song on 3rd March, he wrote excitedly: “Here's a song I'm not too sure on, that I came up with today...

“Ecoute Nes Pas Parler.”

In the video, the Rock School star - whose full name is Christopher James Hardman - showed off his incredible talent as he performed the upbeat love song for his fans.

Smiling out from behind his camera, he sang: "Does it make you feel good? Does it make you feel fine?

"Did it make you feel nice, cos it's me who paid the price but I don't care."

The song - which, in English, trasnaltes to 'Listening Is Not Talking' - has become more heartbreaking since Christopher’s shock death.

According to the BBC, police responded to an address in Lowestoft late Monday morning after receiving a call about a man who had died suddenly.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious; an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

In a final post to his 25.5k Twitter followers sent on 18 March, Chris wrote: “Good morning everybody! Lovely day! Love you all x."

Worryingly he wrote in March 3rd: "Thinking about quitting music forever...there has to come a time eventually when I have to face reality. I'm just not good enough."

Chris shot to fame after starring in Channel 4’s Rock School alongside KISS frontman Gene Simmons. He later released hit single ‘Checkin’ It Out’.

Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this sad time.
