The fashion designer told Australian Vogue by the time she has put her four children to bed a bit of pampering is ‘all [she’s] fit for.’

'Honestly, once the children are in bed I’d rather work or shove on a face pack and pluck my eyebrows,' said the 39-year-old.

'By the time Brooklyn’s finally gone to bed, it’s all I’m fit for. Really, we’re much more normal than people think.' David Beckham's wife of 14 years told the magazine.

‘I thought Malibu was supposed to be glamorous???? Check out the construction fence!’ she wrote.

Down-time with her children Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 10, Cruz, eight, and two-year-old Harper is something Victoria is looking forward to having more of now that her famous footballer husband has retired.

'We’re all so proud of David,' said Victoria. 'Having supported him at clubs all over the world for the past 15 years and seen how he has been an inspiration not just to me and the children but also to millions of people, we are now just really excited at the prospect of spending more time as a family.'
