Sharing a snapshot of herself snuggled next to her husband on their romantic holiday in Canada, Victoria Beckham proved that she and David are as smitten as ever.
Their loved-up display is just the latest in a slew of images posted by Victoria of the pair – who first met in the Manchester United’s Players’ Lounge in 1997 and celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary last month.
Now, two decades after the couple became iconic for their matching leather and denim outfits and their ability to maintain a united front, a source says Victoria, 49, is keen to recreate the spice they had when they first met and couldn’t keep their hands off of each other.
The insider says, “Victoria is really keen for her and David to be the sexiest versions of themselves as they get older – especially as she’s set to celebrate her 50th birthday next year.
“She is always telling David to strip down on social media and show off his buff body. She doesn’t feel insecure about the idea of other women ogling at her husband because she trusts him.
“She loves that he is still lusted after and considered to be a sex symbol and has told him to have fun with it – although that obviously means no flirting, it’s all about his image.
“She’s keen to show fans that, 20 years on, she and David are still hotter than ever and still as into each other as they were back then.”
Victoria and David – who now manages American soccer team Inter Miami CF – have been married since 1999, and while it hasn’t been plain-sailing – with David’s PR assistant Rebecca Loos claiming she had an affair with him in 2004 – the couple have built themselves up to be one of the world’s most famous couples and solid brands.
In recent years, the couple have upped the ante by sharing cheeky details of their sex lives, with Victoria hinting several times that, even after welcoming their four children – Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 20, Cruz, 18, and Harper, 12 – she and David, 48, still make quality time for each other.
In September last year, Victoria joked about tasting novice bee-keeper David’s “sticky stuff” and the couple shared videos from their flirtatious salsa date with fans in April.

The insider adds, “Victoria has also been proudly showing off her bikini body in Miami, too, and has been remarking on how she feels they’ve both still ‘got it’. She wants to bring back that feeling from their heyday when they were considered one of the world’s most attractive couples in showbiz.
“She’s also told David that they need to have a no-jealousy rule too, as Victoria still wants to be seen as a sex symbol herself and feels it should work both ways.”
One of the ways the couple keep their jealousy at bay is by commenting on each other’s pictures. While Victoria is quick to post snaps of David, 48, topless at home, he also comments on her pictures to show fans that they are very much still a team.
