Victoria, 41, and 40-year-old David were said to be in the process of buying another home in Miami – but the fashion designer has allegedly scrapped the idea, as she fears it will result in them spending even more time apart.
A source told The Sun: “Victoria and David’s relationship has been hit hard by their conflicting working schedules in various continents.
“Buying a permanent home in Miami would only add to their problems. Victoria has seen her family uproot several times over the years. It’s been a fantastic experience for their kids but now she just wants to stay in London.”
But VB’s determination to keep her family together has allegedly come as a blow to David, who wanted to to be based in Miami as he works on launching his own soccer team.
Last night David once again dismissed rumours of a rift between him and his wife, taking to Instagram to gush over her after she was awarded the Glamour magazine Woman of the Year award.
He wrote: “Congratulations to the most amazing mother for the woman of the year award… Truly well deserved [sic].”
Earlier this year Victoria insisted she and David have ‘nothing to prove’, telling Grazia: “We love each other, we look out for each other and are strong as both partners and parents.”
