Their rumoured feud has been rumbling on for over a year, but last week Victoria Beckham and Nicola Peltz Beckham appeared to have finally reconciled as they were pictured celebrating together over the Easter break.

As well as joining the Peltz family for an Easter egg hunt in the grounds of their extravagant £76 million mansion in Palm Beach, Florida, the family also celebrated the first wedding anniversary of Nicola, 28, and Brooklyn, 24 – Victoria and David’s eldest son.

Sharing a snap from the day on social media – which shows Brooklyn holding a blue-iced cake adorned with Polaroid pictures of him and Nicola – Victoria is all smiles as she places her arm around her daughter-in-law’s waist.

Captioning the photograph, “So special to be together to celebrate your first wedding anniversary. We love you”, the fashion designer tagged Brooklyn, Nicola and David, who is beaming with pride as he rests his tattooed arm on his son’s shoulder.

Keen to share what has been dubbed as her and Victoria’s “peace-summit” with fans, Nicola commented, “Today was so fun! We love you so much”.

The couple were married in an extravagant ceremony at the Peltz’s mansion in April last year, with all of the Beckham brood present for the Big Day.

Yet just weeks later, rumours of a feud began to surface when it emerged that Nicola had refused to wear a dress designed by her fashion designer mother-in-law.

However, Nicola then hit back and insisted, “Victoria called my mum and said her atelier couldn’t make it”.

Later, wedding insiders revealed how Victoria – who celebrated her 49th birthday on Monday – had also upstaged Nicola on her wedding day by requesting that the couple’s chosen song for their first dance be used to celebrate her mother-and-son moment instead.

Singer Marc Anthony, a close personal friend of the Beckhams, is also believed to have gushed over Victoria during a speech, which was intended to praise Brooklyn and Nicola – allegedly causing the bride to storm out as pictures emerged of her looking tense.

A source later said, “It was an ode to how awesome Victoria is. Nicola loves to be the centre of attention, so this really, really p***ed her off.”

But while Nicola and Brooklyn opted to holiday with the Peltz family over joining the Beckhams’ annual cruise last summer, the couple are thought to have attempted peace-talks at Victoria’s show at Paris Fashion Week in October, when Brooklyn and Nicola flew in from their home in the US to show their support.

Though the newlyweds raised eyebrows again when they later snubbed Victoria’s invitation to spend Christmas with the Beckham family – which included Brooklyn’s siblings, Romeo, 20, Cruz, 18, and Harper, 11 – at their farmhouse in the Cotswolds, choosing to spend it with Nicola’s family in Miami instead. But the Beckhams and the Peltzs’ recent celebrations together – which was thought to have finished with an Easter dinner – is a sign relations between the families could finally be moving in the right direction.

Posting her own tribute to Brooklyn to mark their milestone, Nicola poignantly added, “Today was so amazing celebrating with our families! I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter!”
