The 22-year-old took to social media today to share her happy news, posting a gorgeous bump selfie.
Posting the snap to Instagram, Lateysha wrote: “I can finally take bump pics 24 weeks [sic]”
In an inspiring message, Lateysha also defended her pregnancy weight gain.
She wrote: “You can call me fat all you like… but the thing is it doesn’t hurt me!
“I’m carrying a child one of the most amazing things a woman can do so I’m going to embrace it! I don’t mind being ‘fat’ ATM [sic]”
Lateysha’s reluctance to announce her pregnancy earlier on is the result of the heartbreaking miscarriage she suffered in July.
Speaking to the Daily Star today, Lateysha said: “I didn’t want to risk telling people in case it happened again, it was hard.”
The Valleys star – who is having the baby with her long-term boyfriend Ben – also revealed the gender of the baby to OK! Online.
She said: “I found out that I’m having a girl and I’m over the moon. I’ve already been buying cute little outfits for her and I want her to be like a mini-me.”
