She’s received widespread criticism for her tongue-wagging and twerk-tastic performances but now US Dance Moms’ star Abby Lee Miller is the latest celeb to blast pop sensation Miley Cyrus.
ABBY LEE MILLER ON DANCE MOMS COMPETITION: 'NOT EVERYONE CAN WIN'
Speaking ahead of Lifetime TV’s ‘Dance Mums: Abby Meets Jennifer,’ the US Dance Moms' host said: “Her antics and behaviour are disgusting. She did everything she needed to do in order to completely flip her image, but I think as a role model for young children she’s gone too far. My kids love her, they’ve looked up to her from her ‘Hannah Montana’ days and now I just think she’s become distasteful.”
Disney teen turned controversial superstar Miley, 21, has prompted outrage time and time again following her raunchy and sexually-driven 2013 VMA performance of ‘Blurred Lines’ alongside US singer Robin Thicke, where her constant tongue-wagging and ‘twerking’ stunned audiences.
Nevertheless, the outspoken choreographer praised the ‘We Can’t Stop’ singer for being a ‘good person’ but had some stern words for her dance pupils should they chose to follow in Miley’s footsteps. She added: “If I catch any of my kids on Instagram with their mouths wide open, sticking their tongues out, I’d call their parents and tell them to leave immediately."
Dance Mums: Abby Meets Jennifer, will air on Monday 13th October at 8.30pm, exclusively to Lifetime® (Sky 156 / Virgin 242 / TalkTalk 490)
