'I'm in love...He's just a simple man. I adore him'
The 31 year-old singer opened up about her boyfriend David Lucado – a 27-year-old who does field research for a law firm – in an interview which aired on US TV on Tuesday.
‘I'm in love ... I like the fact that [Lucado is] very stubborn and he's stuck in his ways,’ she said, adding: ‘He's just a simple man. I adore him.
‘He's really funny and he's really passionate. I love the fact that anything he's involved in he's passionate about and it's contagious.'
Britney said she met David through friends, and her father ran a background check on him when they started dating: ‘My dad's a little crazy like that.’
It was first reported that Britney was dating David in February of this year – just one month after she announced the end of her engagement with Jason Trawick.
The report claimed David to be ‘the exact opposite of a Hollywood guy’ – a contrast to celebrity agent Jason.
And Britney – who is already mum to Sean, 8, and Jayden, 7, with ex-husband Kevin Federline – is so besotted with her new man she’d like to have children with him she told interviewers.
However, the pop princess admitted she is unsure about getting married again – which could explain the reasons behind her recent failed engagement.

Prior to getting engaged to Jason in 2010, Britney had been married twice; once to childhood friend Jason Alexander and once to Kevin Federline – the father of her two sons, as well as famously dating fellow pop superstar Justin Timberlake at the height of her career in 1999- a happy romance which she seems never to have quite replicated- yet.
