The 33-year-old and her rugby hunk husband Ben, 30, are parents to daughter Aoife Belle, two, and seven-month-old son Tadhg – and Una admitted they’re influencing her songwriting.
Speaking to OK! Online, The Saturdays singer said that the ‘unconditional love’ she has for her children will be reflected in her upcoming solo material.
Una said: “I’m back doing The Voice of Ireland this year. And I will hopefully have some music of my own next year.
“[Parenthood] has definitely inspired me in different ways, it’s a kind of unconditional love that you have for your children that you can put in a song and make it about a man.”
While Una is busy writing her own songs, her band mates are also focusing on solo projects.
Vanessa White just released a hype track, Relationship Goals, ahead of her debut solo album next year, Mollie King has been in the studio, Rochelle Humes is busy presenting The Xtra Factor and Frankie Bridge just gave birth to her second baby.
But, despite this, Una has insisted The Saturdays are not over for good. She told the MailOnline: “No, no, no like absolutely 100 per cent I’ll say it now – we’re not splitting up, we’re just going on a little bit of a hiatus.”
