I love all the bad stuff, like chocolate and pizza. I just don’t buy the cheap, nasty stuff.

I like to think I have quite a good philosophy with regards to my diet. I don’t deprive myself of anything; in fact, there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t indulge in a chocolate bar or crisps. But, the difference is that I don’t buy the cheap, nasty stuff. I would rather spend a bit more money on my food than say; a really expensive face cream because I’m a firm believer of what you put in your body is just as, if not more, important than what you put on it. If I eat rubbish food, I start to feel rubbish – buying good food is a treat.

I’m not strict with my daughters diet at all.

I always try to pack my daughter, Freya with as much good stuff as I can, I also know that she is her own person, and when she goes over to her friends she will pretty much do what she wants – it’s kind of out of my control. But, she’s quite healthy and she loves being in the kitchen. In fact, she loves helping me out with my roast dinners – she makes an amazing roast potato!

'We all have body issues-but I just try not to dwell on mine'

I don’t believe in punishing yourself or suffering. I think people are too hard on their bodies.

I’m not the type of person that can go to a gym and endlessly push a bar, or squat 50 times in a row – that’s not my thing – I think people are too harsh on their bodies these days. I reckon, if you tap into things that you enjoy, then keeping healthy becomes part of your every day routine. I enjoy swimming and sports, and I’ve recently started hiking, which is so much fun. I even hiked through the South of France this summer - I much prefer doing that sort of thing than busting my arse in the gym. In my opinion, too many people want to change what they’ve got – but they need to realise that that’s never going to happen, and you simply need to make the most of what you’ve got. People have very strange ideas about what they can go from and to. We all have body issues – but I just try not to dwell on mine.

I eat chocolate or cake most days as well as crisps or something else naughty.

I’m so bad – I will eat anything that is put in front of me, so chocolate and crisps are normally part of my every day diet. But, I think, as long as the rest of your diet is relatively healthy then it’s ok. If I’ve had a really unhealthy few weeks though, I’ll go on a bit of a juice detox for a couple of days to cleanse my insides.

My best hangover cure ever is steam, or sweating it out. If I’ve drunk too much and my skin feels dirty, I’ll go to Bikram for two hours.

I recently went to Ibiza and although it was a very different holiday to the one I went on in my MTV days, I still went out and partied a couple of nights. But from my experience, I’ve managed to find the best hangover cure; steam. After a heavy night, I find that your skin feels dirty and so sweating from your pores is a great way of getting that feeling out. Bikram yoga is perfect for this – although it does play havoc with your hair!

**Chocolate and crisps are normally part of my everyday diet**

I don’t like the TOWIE look.

Although having a tan can make you feel sexy, I prefer the less is more approach – there is nothing worse than being orange! The TOWIE look is certainly good fun, but it’s not for me. I would, however, love to play a role where I’m really chavved up – how fun would that be!?

I’m working on a really exciting film at the moment with Ridley Scott called The Consultant. It has Brad Pitt in it, who is so lovely. He really made me feel comfortable and it’s been incredible being in his company and watching him work. I am so glad I wasn’t my 18-year-old self though; I would have just been sat there open-mouthed, unable to do anything.
