After a “year from hell” Tulisa Contostavlos stormed the red carpet of the Pride Of Britain Awards last night and told Closer she was back on track.
The pop star, who was arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs last year before the case was thrown out of court in July, is now rumoured to be dating multi-millionaire playboy Costas Panayiotou and was proud to be showing off her killer size 8 figure.
Tulisa, who feasted on beef wellington and smoked salmon during the pre-ceremony dinner and caught up with her best pal Myleene Klass, told Closer: “I’m feeling great at the moment – I’m working out every day to hone my figure and when I get into my fitness, I become really obsessed with it.”
Meanwhile Tulisa’s former X Factor boss Simon Cowell made his entrance on the red carpet with his girlfriend Lauren Silverman, smoking a cigarette whilst signing autographs for his fans.
He sat on a table inside the venue with his X Factor co-stars Louis Walsh and Cheryl Fernandez Versini, who spend the night kissing her new husband Jean Bernard.
Simon said: “Everyone expects the X Factor judges to be hating each other but we’re all getting on really well. We regularly all have dinner together.”
And Danielle Lloyd turned heads with her size 8 figure – and despite reports she’s lost weight since splitting from her husband Jamie O’Hara in August, she says she’s staying healthy.
Danielle laughed: “People think I’m looking really slim but I’m not on a diet. I’ve been eating Mr Kipling cakes all day!”
While I left Danielle to her Mr Kipling cakes, I bumped into star baker Paul Hollywood, who had brought along his Great British Bake Off co-star Mary Berry as his date.
Paul said: “I’m really looking to seeing Bake Off final tomorrow – it’s a very close-run competition! I’ve had so much fun filming with Mary.”
After the official champagne dinner, celebs including cyclist Sir Bradley Wiggins, TV presenter Katie Piper and comedian Jason Manford hit the dance floor.
