The jury of Tulisa’s trial were played the secret recording which taped a conversation between Simon Cowell’s former manager Gareth Varey and undercover journalist Mazher Mahmood.

When Mazher Mahmood asked Gareth if Simon was gay, the manager replied: “Yes.”

Mahmood then asked: “Have you slept with him?” to which Varey replied “No” but “one day I will when I make my move.”

Varey then said that he did not fancy Simon Cowell, and when asked how he knew the music mogul was allegedly gay, Varey responded: “I know people who have (slept with him).”

Tulisa, who is being tried under her real name Tula, allegedly believed that journalist Mahmood- who was posing as a film producer- would offer her a role in a Hollywood film opposite Leonardo Di Caprio.

Tulisa is being tried for one count of supplying class A drugs in May last year.

The former X Factor judge denies the charges.
