Former X Factor judge Tulisa has been bailed pending an investigation following her drink driving arrest.
A spokesperson from the Metropolitan police confirmed the development this morning.
The 27-year-old was arrested after crashing her £199,000 Ferrari on Thursday night.
According to The Mirror, Tulisa crashed her sport’s car into an elderly couple’s car outside Southgate Tube Station in North London.
She was arrested on suspicion on drink driving after she reportedly failed a breathalyser test at the scene.
She was taken to Edmonton Police Station where she was held for 20 hours before being released on bail, pending an investigation.
A witness who saw the crash says he was surprised that nobody was injured by the accident.
Chris Reynolds told The Sun: “I heard the engine roar. It was so loud and high pitched I thought it was a motorbike.
“Then an instant later I heard a huge bang and thought straight away: ‘Someone’s dead’.
“I was amazed no one was seriously hurt. I could see the couple in the other car looked really shaken up.”
Police say the case may not be brought up again until November.
