The former X Factor judge stands accused of hitting a celebrity blogger while a V Festival.
If found guilty, she could face up to six months in jail.
Tulisa, 25, will now have to wait until 25 July to find out her fate, after spending her fourth day in court today – which was delayed for hours after a witness was unable to attend.
Jeremy Dein QC, who's defending the singer, explained how his client ‘vehemently denied’ the claims against her.
He added: It is our submission, a man who is prepared to publicly humiliate, defame and devastate the reputation of a woman, Miss Contostavlos, would certainly be willing to say ‘she punched me’ when she did not.”
The judge empathised with Tulisa, who seemed agitated while for waiting for the witness to arrive, saying:
“It must be terribly stressful for Miss Contostavlos. I’m sure her heart sank, like mine did, at the possibility of this trial going into day five.”
