The 26-year-old had been hotly tipped to enter the jungle, alongside other rumoured contestants including Josie Cunningham, 23.
But the N-Dubz star has insisted reality TV is not for her, and instead she's focusing on her music comeback.
Appearing on Nick Grimshaw's Radio 1 show, Tulisa said: "Those rumours come by every year. I'm a musician. I've never been a reality TV star and it's not the way I want to go.
"For me it's all about the music. And when I do TV I want it to be connected to the music."
SIMON COWELL CONFIRMS 'TULISA WILL BE FULL-TIME JUDGE AGAIN'
Something Tulisa wouldn't rule out is a return to the X Factor. She was previously a judge on the ITV talent show, mentoring Little Mix to victory in 2011.
She continued: "It's definitely something I could go back to and enjoy."
Tulisa also revealed that her favourite act of this series so far is Fleur East, saying: "When she's on stage she has an air of confidence to her. You're not nervous for her. That's what makes her my favourite."
After a turbulent year being involved in a drugs case, which was eventually thrown out of court, Tulisa is returning to music and preparing to release her new single Living Without You.
