Tulisa Contostavlos ‘arranged drugs in hope of film deal’

Former N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos allegedly arranged drugs for an undercover reporter after she was promised a film deal.

Tulisa was told by the the reporter from The Sun, who was masquerading as a producer, that she was more suitable for his film than actresses Keira Knightley and Kate Winslet, the court heard on Wednesday.

Mazher Mahmood, who was using the name Samir Khan, told Tulisa that she could star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in the film, something which allegedly excited her so much she 'swallowed the story completely,' says prosecutor Timothy Cray.

Tulisa stands accused of helping procure cocaine for the reporter at the Dorchester hotel last May, charges which she denies.

A damning tape was played in court which hears Contostavlos promising the reporter 'white sweets' for a 'lad's night out' which the prosecution allege is code for cocaine.

She also allegedly said that she used to be part of a gang that supplied crack, and that she could get hold of drugs easily.
