She was arrested yesterday after the release of a video allegedly showing the pop star claiming she can help arrange a drug deal to the The Sun’s undercover reporter. She was filmed saying ‘half the guys I know are drug dealers. One’s a massive coke dealer. He’s my best friend. He’s a gangster- he’s my gangster.’

Tulisa was arrested along with her friend, musician Mike GLC. Following three hours of questioning, the two were released on bail.

A spokesman from the metropolitan police confirmed that a 35-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were arrested at Central London Police Station. Tulisa then made her way back to her home after making bail, avoiding reporters outside her house in Hertfordshire.

‘We are innocent. We haven’t been charged'

Tulisa is yet to make a statement, but Mike GLC spoke to reporters outside the police station where the two were questioned. ‘We are innocent. We haven’t been charged… The truth will come out in the end. I don’t want to go into much more detail’

Sharon Osbourne has replaced Tulisa as a judge on The X Factor, though the talent show denies any link between the two stories. In light of the former judges legal woes, Sharon was heard saying to reporters she ‘loved’ that Tulisa had been arrested. The X Factor judge later said she was answering a different question. Nevertheless, there seems to be no love lost between the feisty TV stars.
