Tulisa appears on This Morning ahead of ‘The Price of Fame’ documentary: ‘I hope I can have my career back’

Tulisa has made her first TV on This Morning following a dramatic week which saw her drugs trial thrown out before being found guilty for assault.

The pop star revealed that her drugs court case had changed her life, both for worse and for the better.

“I always say give people the benefit of the doubt until they let you down… you always have to keep your guard up a bit,” she explained.

Both the separate drugs and assault charges have made Tulisa realize who her ‘real friends’ are.

“I’ve lost a few friends along the way, I’ve also gained a few.”

“It’s showed me a lot about my circle.”

The 25-year-old now hopes to put her troubles behind her and focus on getting her career back on track.

“If I’m a better person- if I have the chance to have my career back- I can do better in my career” she says.

Tulisa has yet to get bck in touch with former boss Simon Cowell, but she did share pictures of herself back in the studio working on new music.

The singer’s message to her fans in the wake of her recent court dramas was to “follow your heart, trust your instincts, and everything will be all right in the end. If it’s not alright, it’s not the end.”
