According to reports, TOWIE’s Ferne McCann is in talks to make her big screen debut.
The 24-year-old has travelled to Cannes during the star-studded film festival in order to discuss a possible film role with executives.
A source told The Mirror: “Ferne can’t believe her luck. She was flown out for a lucrative meeting at the plush La Tonnelle restaurant.
"She’s always dreamed of being an actress, so she’s really excited.”
New Media Law also confirmed: “We are currently negotiating something for Ferne in Cannes.”
Ferne certainly has a dramatic streak in her, often finding herself at the centre of the most controversial TOWIE story lines throughout her time on the ITV reality show.
Just a month after breaking up from ex-boyfriend Charlie Sims, Ferne’s latest career news will be sure to distract from her heartbreak.
Ferne previously chose her career over her relationship with Charlie after he gave her an ‘ultimatum’.
A source told Mirror Celeb: "Unfortunately Charlie has given Ferne an ultimatum – it's him or the show. This came as a huge shock to Ferne who is really upset that he would put her in such a position.
"She loves being part of TOWIE and is an important character who is great for the show. She's very successful off the back of it.”
