Charlie, 30, tweeted earlier today that he was off to Ibiza – and it didn't take him long to get to the beach.
But the former TOWIE star wasn't alone: sharing a cute snap of him with his arm around a mystery man, he wrote: "Sometimes it takes a while to realise that the right person was there all along!"
Fans were quick to point out that, despite the fact his face isn't clear, the man with Charlie looks like 23-year-old superstar Sam.
Charlie's former The Only Way Is Essex co-star was one of the first to comment on the news of his romance, writing: "Congratulations mate… Good to see you happy [sic]."
It was claimed last month that Charlie and Stay With Me singer Sam enjoyed a string of dates after meeting on Twitter, but decided to stick to being friends.
A source told The Sun: "The pair hung out to discover if they were compatible. Friends have said nothing romantic happened because they decided they were better off as friends.
"Sam's schedule is incredibly hectic so their dates were very sporadic. They mutually decided in May that it wasn't going to work."
Both Charlie and Sam have yet to comment on the reports, but we're really hoping that it's true!
