Following an interview with the TOWIE star, which appeared to paint Mark in a rather unflattering light, the 26-year-old took to Twitter to express his anger at what he described as lies.
‘I don't normally do this but after 3 yrs & someone who can't even be classed as an X (1 date) has used my name to get headlines again,’ he raged.
'Leave my name out of it. #disgusting.’
‘Nothing but a kiss & tell girl with no class or dignity. It's low enough that you’ve been seeing someone for a month & already sold your story but leave my name out of it. #disgusting.’
‘And for the record iv never got ready in front of you in my life which makes one of your comments an out right lie. So [you’re] lying to earn money,’ he concluded.
Ouch.
21-year-old Lucy responded promptly, replying:
‘The headline NEVER came out of my mouth!!!’
‘Absolutely FUMING!!!!!!!!!!!!’
‘The headline NEVER came out of my mouth!!!’
Referring to her statement about preferring men who weren’t ‘into preening’, she added:
‘& I said Essex boys in general r really groomed I WASN'T referring to mark at all!!!!’

The fashion-store owner then added:
‘I did an interview in good faith & about various things. I never said that headline & it's really upset me’.
The stars’ Twitter spat follows an interview, which appeared in a UK newspaper over the weekend, where Lucy talks about her relationship with The Wanted singer Max George.
‘Max is the best- looking guy I’ve ever been with’, she is quoted as saying.
‘Max couldn’t be any more different and I find that really hot. It’s appealing to me that he isn’t into preening at all and is more of a bloke.’
When asked if Max was better in bed than Mark, she apparently replied ‘yes’.
Speaking about her choice of man, which includes serial cheat Mario Falcone, Lucy replied.
‘I’m definitely not attracted to a womaniser. Oh God, I hope not anyway.’
‘The problem is, cheeky, confident and cocky guys with the gift of the gab are always the ones who pursue me.’
