The 26-year-old shared an adorable photo of him and his five-month-old nephew Buzz (whose parents are sister Giovanna Fletcher and McFly’s Tom Fletcher) via his Twitter account.
He also wrote: "There comes a turning point in life when you want to change your ways and better yourself and ways... This little man was that point! X.”
Mario has been keeping a low profile lately after he was caught appearing to snort a line of cocaine in a linked Internet video.
He was suspended from TOWIE after ITV bosses got wind of the scandal, and he soon issued a public apology.
Mario wrote: “I would like to publicly apologise to my loyal family and friends, all of my co-stars on TOWIE, to ITV and most importantly all of the fans.
"I hope that the producers and ITV will see my genuine remorse and consider allowing me to return to the show."
Mario has a name for himself on the show as a bit of a Lothario, having ended his romance with co-star Lucy Mecklenburgh after allegations emerged that he had cheated on her.

His friendship with pal Charlie Sims also hit the rocks when it was revealed that Mario was secretly dating Charlie’s sister, Chloe.
