With rumours of a break up between Mario and girlfriend of four months Emma rife 'due to his flirting', the lothario did nothing to improve his reputation during yesterday's episode.
Just a week after admitting he would 'crack on' to 24-year-old Chloe if he was single, Lucy Mecklenburgh's ex made his move.
Sauntering over to Chloe during a gym session, Mario enquired about the state of Chloe's love life.
With Chloe admitting she was coming to terms with the fact that boyfriend Jake had kissed cast member Lauren Pope while they were on a break, Mario made his move.
Branding Chloe's ex a 'drip', he continued:
'What would he say if you went out on a date with someone else? and when she responded 'go mad,' he replied: 'Something to think about though.'
And Chloe didn't seem adverse to the idea, revealing she was surprised by his 'shyness'.
Last night's developments are sure to have annoyed ex Emma, who slammed Ferne McCann on Twitter for starting to set Mario up with Chloe last week.
Mario has not commented on Twitter, but deleted a picture of the twosome from his Instagram account following the comments.
