Lucy revealed in her weekly magazine column that she had bumped into her ex-fiance only recently and that she wasn’t 100% convinced by the relationship.
‘I haven’t spoken to Mario since I saw him out recently, so I don’t know if the whole thing with Chloe was genuine or not,’ Lucy writes.
‘I did think perhaps Chloe was a bit old for Mario, plus she has a daughter and I can’t imagine Mario playing the role of stepdad just yet.’
Lucy heard through friends that Mario had referred to her on the show when he was discussing his relationship with Chloe.
‘I’ve no idea why Mario felt it was OK to mention me when he was discussing his relationship with Chloe with his mum. He should be able to make his own mind up without talking about me about me.’
The former TOWIE star noted Lauren Pope’s reaction to the secret affair and reckons that the DJ still has feelings for Mario.
‘It was interesting that Lauren Pope got jealous though. Looks as though she still has a soft spot for him,’ she said.
Following reports that more cast members are planning to leave the show, Lucy reckons that producers should be concentrating on older characters rather than introducing new ones.
‘My opinion is that the viewers want to see established cast members like Sam Faiers, Gemma Collins and Jess Wright,’ she says. ‘All I want to see is the original cast and I get frustrated when they concentrate too much on new ones.’
‘I’m also really disappointed they’re not doing more on Billie’s pregnancy. I want to see Billie try different antenatal classes. I don’t think they’re utilizing Billie’s lovely news as much as they can.’
