According to reports, the couple aren’t very happy with their lack of airtime on the hit reality show.

A source revealed: “With TOWIE, there are a lot of characters and storylines, so I think they struggle to fit everyone in.”

“We have our time like we do in every series, but we do have a massive fan base (and) they go crazy when we’re not on it.”

Lately, Jess’s role in the hit reality show has been to act as an agony aunt figure to the rest of the cast, providing love advice to friend Ferne McCann and Bobby Norris over their relationship troubles.

In previous seasons, Ricky and Jess featured heavily with their own main storylines, the most recent charting Ricky’s disagreements with Jess’s protective family.

The couple recently revealed that they would be open to having their own reality show, similar in style to Katie Price and Peter Andre’s hugely successful show on ITV2.
