The drug is often (unofficially) available in nightclubs and on the street for as little as £2.

Laughing gas- or nitrous oxide- is not illegal, but is not a risk-free drug.

According to drugs charity FRANK, laughing gas “can cause dizziness or affect your judgement, which might make you act carelessly or dangerously and put you at risk of hurting yourself, particularly in an unsafe environment.”

Also according to FRANK. laughing gas can cause death through lack of oxygen.

A source told a British newspaper: “Arg is one of the only original cast members left and thinks he’s the biggest star and can get away with anything.”

Gemma Collins: 'My psychic says I'll have babies soon'

“Bosses want to send a message that nobody is bigger than the show. There are bimbos and himbos all over Essex queuing up to get on TOWIE — even Arg shouldn’t be too confident.

The source continued: “The older stars might be more famous, but they’re also getting jaded and running out of storylines. Bringing shame on the show won’t help their case.”

Jess Wright has also been pictured with the drug as recently as last summer, prompting producers to grow more concerned about the cast’s social responsibility.

Do you think Arg was wrong posing with laughing gas, even though it’s legal?
