Reality star Jon Clark, 28, is under suspension from starring in the The Only Way Is Essex after assaulting James 'Diags' Bennewith
The TOWIE star, who 'slapped' Diags, 27, on a night out in Newcastle, was forced to go back to Essex today by the furious ITV bosses.
A representative of TOWIE spoke out about the clash saying: "They weren't filming at the time but producers found out and Jon has been sent home today.
"Bosses are really unhappy," they said to The Sun.

The pair reportedly came to blows due to having eyes for the same woman in Geordie Shore hotspot, Tup Tup nightclub.
An insider explained: "Jon and Diags were both chatting up the same girl in the club. Things started to get pretty competitive between the pair.
"A fight broke out and Jon slapped Diags before they were pulled apart.
"Jon said he only lashed out because Diags slapped him first," they told the publication.
Despite the speculation, a spokesperson for former Love Island star, Jon, said, "Jon and Diags had a row over some things Diags had said about Jon to a girl they both know.
"She was in the club and Jon confronted Diags about it. They got into a row in the club."
They went on to say: "Jon is going through a lot of stuff in his personal life at the moment and wants to take a break from being on the show to focus on his family and helping his sister with her daughter, as well as his business Essex Tints."
Diags is reportedly feeling ‘upset’ about the attack made by Jon, who previously dated co-star, Lauren Pope, 35.
"Diags was punched in the face by Jon," said a friend. "He's reeling and feels really upset."
