Ex-TOWIE star Amy Childs has revealed that she's considering eating her placenta.
The businesswoman, who is due to give birth in May this year to her first child with boyfriend Bradley Wright, is following in the footsteps of other celebs who have recently admitted to taking part in placentogaphy - the consumption of your baby's placenta.
Rebekah Vardy recently revealed that she had eaten her baby's placenta in the form of placenta pills.
And this is what Amy is hoping to do too.
The 26-year-old wrote in her New! magazine column: "So, call me mad but I'm thinking of turning my placenta into pills.
"Apparently it's all the rage and celebs like Coleen Rooney and Kim Kardashian took them after they gave birth.
"It's all very clever – they take all the nutrients out of your placenta once it's out, turn it into pills, and then you just take them with water like a vitamin!
"It's better than cooking and eating it. Ugh, no way would I do that. I still need to properly look into how it all works – like, where do they take the placenta and when do they make the pills? – but I think I'm going to try it."
The trend of consuming the placenta after birth has become more and more popular over recent years, with other celebs such as Kim Kardashian, Blac Chyna and Coleen Rooney all praising the practice.
Although it may seem slightly odd, placentogaphy is said to have multiple health benefits, including replacing nutrients that are lost during breastfeeding - and preventing postnatal depression.
So perhaps Amy might be onto something here? Although we're not sure that the fact that other celebs have done it would be QUITE enough to sway us...
She marked Valentine's Day by uploading a super cute photo of herself with boyfriend Bradley today, captioning it: "Happy Valentine's my darling ❤️ The best present is yet to come 👶🏻💞"
N'aww.
