TOWIE icon Tommy Mallet has shown off the impressive results of his fitness journey after vowing to change his lifestyle following a health scare earlier this year.
Tommy previously admitted that his “whole word has been turned upside down” after being warned he was at risk of developing type two diabetes. He told MailOnline, “It is mad. I did a 360 test with blood tests and I am at risk of type 2 diabetes. I am really healthy."
The reality star also said that sweet treats had “got the better” of him after fell ill with coronavirus but told his followers that he had changed his diet and taken on less stress as part of a healthy new regime.
It’s quite clear that Tommy has been putting in hard work in the gym too as he’s revealed he has lost 10kg in the past three months. Alongside a before and after picture of his body, he wrote on Instagram, “Nearly 3 months ago I was given a challenge to lose 10kg & completely change my lifestyle!
“I told my doctor I was going to do it and it did! Thank you everyone for the help along the way! Time to get it all in the green 🙌🏼❤️.”
As well as his weight loss and toned new physique, Tommy revealed that blood tests had showed his new lifestyle had also resulted in decreased cholesterol levels.
The dad-of-one, who welcomed son Brody Fordham into the world when his fiancé Georgia Kousoulou gave birth last year, was inundated with congratulations from his celeb pals including Vicky Pattison in the comments section.
The former Geordie Shore star wrote, “Well done son,” while Love Island’s Brad McClelland commented, “Quality lad 👏.”
It’s set to be a busy year for Tommy, who runs footwear brand Mallet, as he plans his wedding to Georgia after popping the question while they were on holiday in February. He even teased the possibility of adding to their brood as he admitted, “Would be nice to have a girl next!”
However, with a toddler to look after and a business to run, Tommy admitted it’s unlikely that baby number two would be on the way any time soon. He added, “He (Brody) has not slept all night. Me and Georgia are all over the place. The last thing on my mind is that.”
