Tom and Giovanna Fletcher are notorious for their adorable videos letting their keen fans know all their latest gossip, from announcing pregnancies to the arrival on their little ones.
But latest video uploaded to YouTube was not what we expected – Giovanna in labour!
The video, named Live from the Delivery Room, begins with an unusual opening, a women delivering a speech at the Penguin Random House sales conference…
“Tom was suppose to be here today to tell you about his new project for 8 – 12 year olds, but unfortunately he’s rather got his hands full – at a London hospital,” she said, before the screen changed to show a Skype call to the loveable McFly singer with heavily pregnant wife Giovanna lying next to him in a hospital bed.
The couple welcomed their second baby, Buddy Bob, several weeks ago, and took to Twitter and Instagram to confirm that ‘Player 2’ had arrived.
Back in the delivery, Tom announces:
“I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to tell you all about my new book, its my first ever novel, its call the Christmasaurus.”
It’s a this point the 30-year-old dad is interrupted by wife Giovanna as she lets out a painful moan, and he asked her to keep the noise down – the cheek!
Tom reveals he’s working on an enchanting tale about a boy and a dinosaur going on a Christmas adventure, which sounds like a recipe for fun to us.
He said:
"It's about families and friendships, Santa and sleigh bells, singing elves and flying reindeer, music and magic, and it's about finding your heart's true desire.
“And one of the things I’m most excited about is that I’ve been writing music to help bring the story to life, and I’m so gutted I cant be there because I wanted to sing you one of the songs.”
But Tom then asks his about-to-pop wife just to hold off on the whole giving birth things for a moment so he can crack on with a song, and it’s pretty magical.

The book is set to go on sale in this winter, as hubby Tom follows in Giovanna’s footsteps as a novelist.
We for one cant wait to read – and sing along - to The Christmasaurus.
