Diver Tom, 21, has been dating 41-year-old Dustin for two years, and they announced their happy news with message in the Times.
It read: “The engagement is announced between Tom, son of Robert and Debra Daley of Plymouth, and Lance, son of Jeff Bisch of Philadelphia and Anne Bisch of Lake Providence.”
Tom revealed his relationship to filmmaker Dustin in a YouTube video, but didn’t give away his identity initially.
At the time he said: “In Spring this year, my life changed massively when I met someone, and they make me feel so happy, so safe and everything just feels great. That someone is a guy.”
Shortly after making the video, Tom revealed Dustin saved him from quitting diving altogether.
He said: “After the olympics I was down in the dumps, as it’s such a hard way to get back into everything, but he gave me the extra motivation and made me work harder and that is exactly what I need.”
Appearing on the Jonathan Ross Show, Tom gushed over his new man. He revealed: “It was love at first sight.
“I’ve never felt anything like it – and I made the first move.”
