A source told The Mirror: ‘Lance and Tom are really serious about each other and Lance is willing to make a firm commitment by basing himself in the UK.’
Lance has been in London supporting Tom as he launches the new series of his TV diving show Splash.
Tom shared a cute Instagram snap of the couple enjoying a celebratory meal after the first episode debuted. They then headed to popular London nightspot GAY.
The Olympic medalist also took his American beau sightseeing around London with his best friend, Sophie Lee.
‘He likes it over here and gets on well with Tom’s friends and family, so would fit into Tom’s social circle easily. Tom’s worked really hard to make him feel welcome and Lance really appreciates it.’
The source also claims that Lance has struggled with the attention that dating the Olympic diver has brought him, though he is not letting it affect their relationship.
‘He finds the attention he gets in public with Tom a little overwhelming, but he’s more than willing to deal with it for Tom.'
Last year, Tom revealed he was in a relationship with a man in a candid Youtube video and has been met with tremendous support from his family, friends and fellow celebs.
